GPS, LoJack, microchips, medic alert bracelets......none of them is as good as an old fashion photo copied sign on a tree. I found these two signs on trees no more than 10 feet from each other. I feel rather sorry for both these poor lost souls. One answers to "Mr. Pretty" and the other might, depending on if he's taken his medication or not. People with dementia wander off all the time. I'm sure he got disoriented and just couldn't find his way back.
The Berman (type of fancy pants cat) isn't lost at all. I suspect he escaped from his overbearing owner. I don't blame him. With a name like Mr. Pretty, I'm sure its hard to maintain your street cred. Enjoy your freedom Mr. Pretty. I'm rooting for you.
